Long Tube Headers, CATS, and Emissions in CT?

Alright so I've been trying to figure this all out....I would like to at some point put long tube headers on my 2000 f150 4x4. I looked at CT's emission website and it says for 1996 and up vehicles they do the OBD test and if you pass that you pass your emissions. It also says they visually check for the presence of a catalytic converter. I know the older f150's like mine have 4 cats and I know the newer ones have just 2..but do they keep track of these things? If I run long tube headers and highflow's would they just look and go ok you've got cats so you pass??? Or would I def. fail?

Anyone one here live in CT and know for a fact?

Yeah it might be alright to run that setup. I know a while back we didn't have any inspections, but i should probably talk to more people in the area.
