Question Questions on flowmaster

Im getting a delta flow 50 series FM for my '97 F-150. I had a few questions first though...

Im planning on dumping the exaust. Does it make any difference if i go with the SI/DO or SI/SO? Also, If i go with the SI/SO, should I get the Center in, Center out or Both sides offset? Which one is designed for the f-150 or does it even matter?

Contrary to what I just said, will it make any difference sound wise if i just run a 2.5" pipe to the back axle from the exhaust? I thought about doing this for the reason of getting the fumes farther away from the cab but im still debating this.

Next, Do i just use the brackets that held the stock muffler? The FM is going right where I cut off the Stock muffler and im not sure what I need to do about securing it. I'm doing this project my self and I have my own welder but I'm still a little shaky on a few things.

Lastly, Im getting the Exhaust new off EBAY for around 80$. Does this sound about right? Thanks for any help!

the muffler inlet/outlet wont matter if youre just dumping the exhaust but if you have just the slightest notion of going dual later on, id go ahead and buy the si/so muffler.

make or buy new hangers. its better to not use stock because you know what condition they are in if you put them on brand new.

It doesn't matter what inlet you get. I'd get the SIDO, just in case you want to run duals later on. I'd run it back to the axle and dump it there. Far away enough from the cab you shouldn't have any problems with fumes.

Ok...so Im ordering the 50 series FM off of ebay and I wanted to get some opinions....

Performance Curve has it for 75$ plus 10$ shipping.

PerformancePeddler has it for 96$ and free shipping.

I didnt know if anyone has done business with these two and what they thought of them and who I should go with....Thanks..

if you want deepness, get the SI/SO, if you want louder, SI/DO, My F250 with a 5.4L is running a SI/DO Flowmaster and slow take off & idle are nice, but when you floor it & take off hard ( like on a country side road ) its louder than deeper, & I like the deeper sound. But if I were you I would get it true dualed, with two SI/SO Flowmaster 40s. Much deeper sounding that echos for a pretty far distance.

I know I'm already getting the FM 50 SI/SO but I just didnt know which seller to buy from and I wanted some input on people who have dealt with these two providers.
