!!! Throttle body spacer or air intake !!!!

What would be the better of the two. I am getting flowmasters put on my truck on thursday and id like to either get one of the two. What adds more hp? Throttle body spacer or a cold air intake system?

throttle body spacer are a waist of money a lot of people on here have said that. get the cold air intake. If i was you i would not get the cold air intake save some more money and get a programer you can get a edge for about $300-$400 i dont know how much the xcal is

intake for sure the spacer is pointless it actualy hurts your HP and TRQ, it slows down air volocity.

I agree. Throttle body spacers are a waste, even though I have one. I would go with the intake myself.

Im in the same boat, I have one, and I am currently still tossing around the idea of a volant or S&B intake kit to replace the K&N kit it does not fit my truck properly and has worn a hole the size of a queball in it, I have a 1" thick foam filter outside to protect it until replacement. been thinking about it for 4 months now.

id highly reccomend an afe intake. their the cheapest of the full intakes but theyre still good. had mine for almost a year and satisfied.

its best to get the engine breathing before you add other mods to it.

yea i got a heliux throttle body spacer for like 80 bucks and well I completly regrret it. I also have a K&N 77 series and that I'm very pleased with. Installed it myself with ease. At certain RPM's you can really hear it whistle and I love it.
