2007 F150 FX2 Super Cab 5.5 Box
Hi All,
I am new here and I just picked up my 07 FX2, I have already installed a A.R.E. LSII tonneau cover and a Bulldog spray in liner. Thinking about flowmaster series 50 deltas in a cat back system, but I am leary of altering the exhaust on a new truck. Has anyone had any issues altering their exhaust on a new truck.
Never done anything to a new vehicle before always waited until they were paid off before I started messing around with them, but I sure would like some sound on my truck, it is way to quiet with the stock exhaust and since I had 40 series FMs on my Mustang GT, I have gotten used to having some tone. Any information would be cool. Anyone else got one of these FX2's?

I do not think that mufflers or systems will void warranty. I have the Magnaflow 16616. I do really love the sound. There is very little or no sound inside the cab. If you want to hear it ... Oh you will!!! And so will everyone else!!!
I will be updating my signature and pictures this weekend.

That is right on what everyone says, no way an exhaust will void anything so do it. The warranties always go by too fast anyways. Depending on where you live, stainless systems are the way to go in a 4 seasons spot for corrosion etc., trust me. Anywhere else, roll the dice and choose, usually any system will satisfy.
I Did It
I woke up on Saturday and said F*^% it. Took my truck down and got a SI/DO cat back system with a 50 series flowmaster (delta). Exhaust exits out the rear of the truck with chrome tips.
Ya'll were right, loks great and boy does she sound good. Not to loud on the outside and mellow on the inside just enough to know something is there. They cut my factory system off so all I have to do if need be is to have to welded back on should I get in a pinch. I hoping everything will be cool though. Thanks all. How do you post pics here so I can let you all see her?

MagnaFlow's Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Are MagnaFlow Performance Exhaust systems legal?
Answer: YES, all of our Cat-Back Exhaust Systems comply with most state and federal laws with the exception of the Magnapacks. (Please note, local laws may vary. Contact your local law enforcement for specific guidelines.) Our products are designed and tested to meet legal sound level limits; however, when used in conjunction with other products (such as air intake systems or exhaust headers), the overall combined effect might cause particular vehicles to exceed the allowable limits.
A new law (27150.2 VC) does not require police to use a sound meter to test for excessive noise. A citation is now based upon the officers judgment. Cited violators may have testing done at a smog referee station.
