Good Luck

If you are looking for a quality, low-price unit I would suggest the GREEN Performance intake myself. Very high quality air filter (superior to K&N, which voids the warranty if you want to get technical due to the lack of a felt surround) which the GREEN filter DOES have.

I have this intake, and have no complaints. I think it is the same price, and basically same design as the Airraid JR.

If you only have $200 to spend then save a few more $$.You can get a Roush (Airraid) CAI shipped to your door for $260 on Ebay.I just got mine last week from this seller.I don't know how but he can do it but he sells them $75-$80 cheaper than anywhere else I've seen them. Fast shipping too. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2005-...66492409QQrdZ1

And there you have it, mass confusion. Look man its pretty much like this, pick one and go with it. As you can see, everyone is a critic. We each have our own personal opinion, most because that is the one we picked and by God, were sticking to it. Others may have formulated their opinion from bad experiences, but bottom line, your looking for price so shop around, and then shop around some more until you find the best deal and then buy it. All intake kits operate generally in the same fashion. You could read all of the specs until you are blue in the face and then you would be even more confused because each claims to be better than the other. So, just pic a brand and start shopping. Hope this helps and no I am not trying to offend anyone just stating fact.

I didn't see where anyone claimed that their CAI is the best.
I saw people telling him about the best deals on a variety of CAIs.
Nothing wrong with showing him what his options are for a given budget $$.

I knew this would happen, always a sensitive one in the bunch. Im not trying to put anyone down or poke fun. Im just saying people generally stand by the products they purchase, so all these guys are telling him about different kits and how this one works and that one works, so Im just telling him to simply pick a brand, what looks the best to him, and start pricing them to find the best deal. Im not saying that K&N is better than any of these either, just that if he reads too much in to any of this his poor little head will start spinning. Again, NOT TRYING TO OFFEND ANYONE. And, as far as me saying that one claims to be better than the other I was refering to the actual manufacturers sites that put the specs up for you to see what gains you get and so forth. Im confident that if you contact the manufacturer they will give you a huge spill about how theyre better than the other guys. Hope I clarified that for ya.

well i really appreciate all the information. the voiding of the warranty is new because i didn;t think an air intake would do that. so thank you for that. im not biased as yall can see and i think biker boy... did i hear a niner in there? lol... is dead on ***** accurate about people standing by their product, ****.. i sware by JL Audio just because thats what i have in my truck... thats a different story but thanks for all the helpful info and tips. im sure once i decide and get one installed i will let everyone know how it is. i also think its funny how im being refered to as him and having statements made like "my little head will explode" and then " hes a big boy"...jeez sounds like im talking to my two senile aunts! lol but thanks again fellas
