Angry AFE Stage 2 install

Has anyone put this type on thier truck? I have a problem with the MAF setting off my CEL. I can reset the CEL and start it up and run it with no light coming on, but once you turn it off and restart it the CEL will come on within a mile of driving it. And I quote!!! "loosing hair from pulling it out in amazement"

Any aftermarket CAI installed on these new 3V modular engines can cause the problem you are having. There are many that run lean from the factory and adding more air without the proper tuning will add to this issue. Been there, done that..

i put on series 63 k&n cai on my 06 5.4 no problems yet.the edge programmer should be here today, yahoo!.i dont know if a programmer will fix your problem, the only thing i could think of is spray some starting fluid around where your connections are to make sure you have no air leaks.just an idea,i did it to mine after install.if you have a leak it will pick up rpm real quick.
