Question Ceramic coated

Im just wondering what the main difference is between ceramic coated headers and normal headers. Also are they really worth the extra money?

If you want them to look like new years down the road they are. I hear that they keep more of the hot exhaust gasses inside the headers than non coated. I have them on my truck, and say that I think they are worth it.

Which headers would you recommend for a 1997 Expedition with a 5.4?

ceramic dont heat up as bad and look newer longer. idk much about header brands but Pacesetters pretty popular. Longtubes can give you the most effective power and sound over the shortys too.

Dynatech ought to have em, gotta be the same as the F-150 usually is. My vote is for ceramic coating for all the same reasons.

4x4's have the Front differential and realated mounts, drive shafts etc it the way.

Talk about frustration when doing simple work.

If you get ceramic coated, make sure the steel is ss, becuase if its not, it will rust from the inside out. Ive heard of this happening many times.
