noob to exhaust

im planning on doing the exhaust and put headers aswell with it all

how would a true dual work..? with headers

headers then, 2 cats, x pipe , 2 40 series, then dual out?

each header will have its own cat and muffler right or do the 2-1 then 1-2.?

im really new to this and i have a hard time with exhaust someone explain to me ?

I drew that up a while back, guess it might help you some.
basically you have headers, one cat each side, X pip or H pipe then twin SISO (single in single out) then exaust pipes or dumped either way...

If you want headers I would say get longtubes, put in high flow cats, then true dual it out with two mufflers, and then choose to dump them at the axle or run tips over axle and out to the bumper.

Yea, shorties are a waste of money. Get a set of dynatech stainless steel long tubes. You do have the 5.4 right?
