Cool Installed Flowmaster sounds great

Many threads here with Magna Flow versus Flowmaster. I went with the FM Delta Flow 50series, single in dual out. I love the sound, throttle response has improved and have not experienced any loss of power or low end torque as others have described. I found that sound is louder upon intial acceleration (first, second gear) or when going up a hill. Once you reach desired speed (highway) it's very comfortable. My truck now sounds like a truck.
Also when you see the size of the OEM muffler you'll be shocked! I must of saved a few pounds, 4lbs less= 1 HP.

I also own a Blazer 4.3L that has a Magna Flow muffler and Cat. I also realized performance gains, but the sound of the FM can't be matched. I would :santa: shy away from the 40 series it's just too loud!

Actually the F250/350s have a less restrictive cat setup and are noticably louder than F150s.

oh? interesting, well my best description would have to be, my F250 is louder than it is deeper, at idle has that Flowmaster tone, on the takeoff its a loud roar and on a 3000rpm or higher takeoff it sounds like a muscle car sorta, just smooth and no crackle, I had a soundclip of it once trying to find it.
