Mark, I wouldn't want it sent without an box. As far as the reason is, it will get really damaged in the system. If you do not mind no pipeing, then sending only the muffler wouldn't cost to ship as much. I think the stock system runs about 70-80#'s.

I would have to be in a box. Just go down to any UPS Store and the will pack it up for ya. All ya need to do is bring it on down to the store. The shipping prices are the same as online and at the UPS Customer Counter rates.

One thing. I think it just maybe too large to UPS to handle. Like I stated above, You may want to cut off the pipeing and just send the muffler.
