A Few Exhaust Questions

I posted this in the Exhaust (OEM) section by mistake a while ago and got no response. Since then, I've found a few more questions that need answers:

I've installed many MBRP exhausts on my diesels in the past with extreme satisfaction on fit, finish, and sound. I see MBRP makes exhaust systems for gas engines as well, and was wondering if anybody has installed one, and what your overall impressions were. I love the sound MBRP produces with their mufflers - not rappy, but smooth, deep, and mellow, but I see their prices are a bit high - somewhere in the $650 range for duals. Ouch! Anyway, anyone out there running MBRP?

Also, I have been reading that Magnaflow is probably the best out there, or at least the most popular. I have a 2007 F-150 Supercrew Lariat with a 6-1/2 foot box. I would like a cat-back system with dual outlets behind the wheels (angled out-not straight). I looked at all the models made, and the numbers don's seem to tell which system I would need. Anybody have this type of system on theirs and know the Magnaflow number?

I see some of you liking outlets before the rear tire. What happens... like in 1997, or so, when Ford dumped out before the rear tire and corroded all the center caps on the passenger side rearwheels - costing them "X" million bucks? Don't your center caps corrode, too? I love the look, but don't want the maintenance headache.

Lastly (breath), will any of these systems improve mileage, or is this just fiction? I'd like to pick up mileage without sacrificing torque and performance, but that could only be expected when I drive easy... and we all know what happens when we exhaust our rigs. Thanks,

Smoke

So far i don't have any corrosion or wheel discoloration with mine. Although mine is straight out the side before the rear tire, instead of angled like the '97s not sure if that changes anything

Mine are angled with a tappered angle cut tips and I've had no issues with corrosion or discoloration on my chrome wheels as well. I didn't use chrome tips, just painted the pipes black to go with the rest of the truck.
