Thanks for the input. My budget is limited, but I always try to buy the best value. I'll pay more if the product is worth the difference. What makes, in your opinion, the AF1 better? And is there a link to the AF1's performance numbers in the F150?

Thanks again.
Hi Dot;

Yup - TP = Troyer Performance.

There are plenty of posts like this:

Search in the Chips forum ( and this one). You can also call TP directly and ask - you'll get lots of feedback & no-BS advice, as well as current member discount pricing.

Good luck.

Cheers
Bubba

As far as the K&N, I think the 63 series actually rates higher HP than the 57 according to the websites, also the 63 is illegal in some states. I went with the 63, it states higher HP gain. Plus I'm an outlaw if I ever decide to drive to Cali! LMAO

I was debating on the AF1 but I find limited info from anywhere but here.

BTW, I got the 63 for less than $200 DLVD brand new on ebay.

Also, I like the look of the 77 series but the performance was not up to par so go with substance over style.

I think the AF1 is a nice option though but a little pricier than the K&N, I wouldn't consider any other than those two in my opinion.

I just installed the 77 on my 07' F-150 and you can really notice a difference. It is a bit noisy but hey its a truck and if you are making mods to it then the extra noise makes it nice.
