Question Air Force One question...

Is the AF 1 strictly a Troyer Performance item or do other Suppliers carry it also?

Sadly, your right.

Self-help, & the desire to research is becoming extinct.

Spoon-feeding and instant gratification is now defining society, joining the already well-entrenched responsibility-avoidance mindset.

The only difference between young children and these new-age adults is the absence of a high chair ( or maybe not ).

Oh, sorry for the digressions... :

Yeah - check out AirForce One's Dealer links page:

http://www.airforceoneperformance.com/bin/dealers.php

Found - using Google . Just lucky, I guess.

Cheers

Thanks. You know, I didnt ask "How to build a Watch", I just asked "What Time it was"....and I know how to Google. I had hoped someone would respond and perhaps mention if they had found it cheaper or a better source.

Hi. No worries.

Hey, at least I provided a link after I put my soap box away

You may find a cheaper source, but you won't find a better one than the one your first mentioned. Great customer service, a truly caring vendor, and the ability to tune for these intakes properly are worth something in my book. I'd prefer to support a small independent to a large faceless storefront/chain any day.

FYI - Knowing something and actually applying it are two entirely different things.

Oh - it's now 12:12 pm EST.

Chill.

Cheers
Bubba

There are several pieces I plan on buying from TP that I could find cheaper if I looked hard enough, although it wouldn't be by very much. He's got a pretty competitive pricing schedule.
Experience on both sides of the performance parts counter has taught me that getting the lowest, bottom line price is definitely not the better deal in most cases.
Where you find rock bottom pricing is normally where you will also find two large, steaming piles of crap. One labeled "customer service". The other labeled "product knowledge"

BTW, I said I was just razzing you, and if you want posters to gives supplier names and prices, say so. One example would be naming the post: "Where'd you get your AF1, and how much?", instead of Air Force One question... "Is the AF 1 strictly a Troyer Performance item or do other Suppliers carry it also?"

If your here long enough, you'll find that the vast majority are very helpful and knowledgable. Try not to get all up in arms when you don't get info that isn't asked for to begin with.

snappylips, my response wasnt necessarily for YOUR post, but MGDfan's. I didnt want Supplier Names or Prices or yes, I would have asked for them. And I only get "up in arms" when I am given Attitude in lieu of what is asked. A condescending reply such as your last, is what I would think discourages New Members like me from posting in the first place. A response such as " No, the AF1 isnt strictly a Troyer Performance item, it is sold by others. You can Google AF1 and find other sources that carry it but my recommendation is Troyer". That would have answered my question fully. -Buddy.

True, as does the response: "No, it's available elsewhere."
My reply wasn't, IMO, condescending at all, but everybody is welcome to their own opinion I guess.

Yup.

Buddy, this is the Internet, not Daycare. Grow a pair & don't take things so personal - if you read between the lines, my comments were not directed at you ...

Cheers
