New guy checking in

Hey guys, I'm new to the sight, I just bought a 2001 Supercrew Lariat w/ 5.4 for my new daily driver. I have the modification itch already, and definatly want to start with the exhaust. I'm thinking just a catback system with cold air for now. Im into the muscle car tone with a good grumble. Ive been scrounging for sound clips but you know you can never really tell from those. Any info on whats going to sound the best on the 5.4 would be much appreciated.

Magnaflow. I've had Flowmaster's but I didn't want the drone on this truck. The maggie has a deep, low rumble to it at idle and normal crusing. When you get on it, it wakes up.

Yea I was leaning towards Magnaflows, they seem to be the best as far as keeping torque. Thanks for the input.

Go with the Magnaflow. Nice sound without being too loud.

I agree. Go with the Magna Flow and if you really want to allow the truck to breath, look for a shop that will do a true dual setup with an X-Pipe.

Pictures of my true duals here:
