flowmaster mufflers

What flowmaster muffler has the deepest tone? And what size would i need. I have magnaflow duals with 3inch tubing and 3.5in tips. What sizes should the inlets be?

It may have it listed somewhere, but I did'nt see what kind of truck you have.I have an 04 f-150 and had true dual installed on my truck.I used 40 series flowmasters and that seems to be the most popular choice I have seen.It sounds awsome.

Well there's my two cents...later

The Super 40 series is supposed to have the deepest tone, but I'm happy with the original 40 series. You could try the super if you're looking for more deep, however the original 40 does have plenty of cab resonance and the super might be too annoying in that sense.

Thats cool, I wish they had a more clearer quality sound clip of the Super 40 though, but it sounds like the deepest, I plan to True Dual mine out with Delta Flows, but if i did so with Super 40s, I would be waking the neighbors at night

I like the super series, but have a question on the true duals that people refer to.Are true duals just from cats back or does this remove the cats?

Just from the cats back, no need to modify the cats ( unless you wish to )

If you dont know how a True Dual setup is, a complete exhaust rebuild, you have a pipe to the left cat guided to the right side and run it along side the pipe from the right side cat, have the pipes go down about 1ft then x pipe them, then run 2 pipes straight to your mufflers, and you have the choice to either dump tip both mufflers, or run tips over the axle and out the rear.

I am serious about this time. I have a true dual set-up with 2 glass packs. My truck just isn't loud. I was wondering if a dual in/dual out muffler would be better or 2 single in/single outs would be better? Oviously dual in/dual out is cheaper. Also how hard would it be to cut the glass packs out and put the super 40 series muffler in there? What would it cost to take it to a exhaust shop and have them weld it in there.

I have also heard that for the 40 series to sound good it needs a high performance engine. I have a 351W so is that a big enough motor for it to sound good?
