That thing is on my stock exhaust and its just... on there, not connected to anything. Is it like a weight balancer or something?

yeah... But i'm glad I didn't have the truck since new, because then it would be my fault. No doubt 10yrs from now it will probably need a new frame, Hopefully somebody will transfer the body onto a nice new frame. Oh, Have you seen my spare?

from the factory, the stem is facing up, to protect it, and protect the "pretty face" side of the spare from rocks, and sand and what not. Most people do flip it over, i even had discount tire flip it even tho i never asked them to. Its a convienence thing. For a while i had my jack stored inside the bowl of the rim when i had it face down. I think my spare is face/stem down at the moment.

That rust is from all that dang salt they use in PA... I wonder when they are gonna get a clue and use sand instead like they do up here... sure, you get a cracked windsheild every once in awile, but I'd take that over a rusted out truck any day.

Because they are too cheap up here and use cynders and salt.... which are paintv scrapers and frame rusters. I would love to start a petition for it though "USE SAND, NOT SALT!"

It snowed last night so the way I see it, winter is here.
