I just pulled a 5000# trailer from Texas to Calif (2000 miles). I have noticed that the dual tips (stainless) have changed color near the inlet of the tip. I am running a flowmaster 50 series with dual tips out back. It looks as though this is from excess heat, but this did not happen in the 5 months prior during daily driving. Is this ordinary, or something I need to look into? Thanks in advance.

 

I'm sure its from the prolonged heat exposure.
