Jason...what are you looking for in an upgrade? Power? Sound? I'd suggest a Magnaflow catback system, however, if it's sound you're looking for it's not the loudest...it's probably somewhere in the middle in terms of loudness and I haven't had any cabin drone with mine...as for power, it's one of the best with no low end loss...good quality, fit, and finish too...

I want sound but good sound not loud. Power is a definite! This will be my first time upgrading a truck so I want to do it right.

I suggest you then go with Magnaflow. Check out my gallery for some pictures to get an idea.

I have a magnaflow muffler (16" I think) kept the stock pipies, just replaced the muffler at a exhaust shop, $150 and its all taken care of. Sounds good and with the minimal gain from bigger pipes alot cheaper. The stock muffler wieghs about 80 pounds so you'll be saving alot in weight.

I just replaced the stock muffler with a piece of pipe and put a stainless tip on the end... the whole process cost me 44 bucks after tax and sounds GREAT! I dont really hear it that much on the interstate and at idle... but will scream on acceleration if you want it too.

I got my Magnaflow installed a few weeks ago and I love it. I have some pics in my gallery. I had Flomasters on my last truck and they were annoying. They were too loud, droned in the cab, just plain annoying after 4 years. My friend had a Magnaflow installed on his truck a while back and figured I would give it a try. Nice mellow, deep rumble but it comes alive when I get on it.

I put Magnaflow on my 06, it sounds awesome. It has a low aggressive rumble but not too loud. I bought mine from Hottexhaust.com.
