headers?

Ported headers could refer to doing a little work trying to grind out the stock ones, although there is *very* little that can be done to them....
More often it means a cleaned up aftermarket header as many of them have welds around the inside of where the tubes meet the flange on the engine side. The weld can protrude into the airstream a little bit.
Pace Setter headers are cheap for a reason, you get what you pay for. My choice in the spring will be Edelbrocks.....

Best design I've found in a shortie and good price for ceramic coated..
Never heard of ported headers. If your looking for good quality try JBA. More expensive yes, but that are also stainless and cermanic coated inside and out.

Pacesetters are popular with the Fbody guys b.c they are cheap and actually pretty efficient. But i ask why shorties when for a few more, you could get Longtubes?
Btw never heard of ported headers either....

Shorties are good and all,but you really don't see a power difference with them. Your stock manifolds are jus as good. Long tubes would have a better effect.
