New Magnaflow Exhaust Installed w/Pics!!!

Hey all,

I just wanted to let you all know that I just had my new exhaust installed. That was the easy part! The hard part was deciding which to go with as I am a first time F-150 owner. My ride is a 2006 FX4 Screw. I can't tell you all how many threads I've read regarding which exhaust to go with! Anyway, I was certain that I was going to go with Flowmaster, but the more I read, I decided to go with Magnaflow instead. All I can say is.............

I absolutley love the sound. It has a really nice rumble sound to it. I find it plenty loud. with no drone in the cab at all. I had Robert's Custom Exhaust in Stafford, Va. install it. They custom bent all of the tubing on a mandrell for a 110% perfect fit! I also went with 100% stainless steel all the way around!!!!! Tips, hooks, pipes, etc!!! it looks killer! I hope to post some pics soon. All I can say is? If you are on the fence, go with Magnaflow. You want loud? Ok, go with Flowmaster, but in my opinion going with Magnaflow gives you the best of both worlds. Performance and sound in my opinion. He also set it up in a way that it has no raspyness or crackling/popping sound that some have mentioned. So? There you have it. That's my story.

Anyway, here are some pics!

Looks like a very well done exhaust. How much did that run you to have fabbed up? I had a magnaflow siso muffler welded in place of the stock muffler and couldn't be happier. It cost me $130 to have done, muffler included. No drone or raspy tones from my magnaflow muffler either.

The complete job was $600. I saw the the guy custom bend all of the tubing for a perfect fit! This guys shop is top notch! The cleanest shop I've ever seen to!

You really have to see it in person to appreciate the work!

Clean looking exhaust install. Looks just like my setup, except mine's routed out behind the tires at a 45* angle with 3.5" x 12" Imco polished stainless slant cut tips. And I used aluminized 2.25" pipes. Did you go with the 18"?

Looks great! Congrats on the install. Stainless is the way to go for sure. I love the magnaflows.

He didn't buy stainless steel to look good...he bought it for the durability (rust protection). What do you mean still have two pipes into one? it comes out two pipes.
