Hey KRtexas, what is the part number on those magnaflow mufflers? I am thinking of a similar setup and am looking at them on ebay but am not sure the dimensions. Thanks.

That is a clean setup. I agree about that X pipe.....never seen one like that....they did a clean job for what they charged you. What shop did the setup?

The name of the shop who did my exhaust is SoTex Street Machines.

http://www.sotexstreetmachines.com/

Phone: 281-516-1355

Ask for Stan.

I am not sure about the part number because the work order just lists two Magna Flow mufflers. They are SISO and they measure 14x9x4 inches, if that will help in your search efforts.

Thanks for the info. I will have to do a search and find the muffler like you used and buy them from ebay or the like.

Nice setup. I've been asking questions about putting a x pipe in with my existing true duals. Some recommend the Magnaflow x pipe. Did the muffler shop make your x pipe? If so I might get one here to do the same. How much did the x pipe cost?

Since I was not sure how much gas they put in and I did not note the mileage, I was not able to get an accurate reading at the pump.

I reset the average MPG again after filling up the tank for the first time last night. Right now, it is sitting at 16.0 for the first 80 miles with the new exhaust and mostly freeway driving. I will keep track to see if it goes below the 13.7 when I am at the end of the first real tank of gas. I will do the math after I fill up to see how close the computer reads.

So what is the latest on the truck re: above?

I imagine the extra weight from the lid will cancel out any wind drag savings, but I really like the finished off look of a very low body-colored lid on this model of truck.
And what is the update here?
