problem after magnaflow install

about 4-5 days after i installed my catback, i have noticed a vibrating noise coming from under the truck. It resembles the sound of an electric razor (only louder) Its only when the truck is in gear and the brake is pressed or going reallly slow (that i could notice anyway) and only once that the truck is in park. I got under the truck and couldnt figure out where the noise was coming from. I felt around the muffler and clamps and nothing was loose. Any ideas what this could be?

Is that a contradiction of terms or does it vibrate while going slow and in park? Any chance of noticing what part of the truck (font back left right) it's coming from? I'd say the exhaust is rubbing against something since you just changed that out. Could be something inside the muffler too. I'd hope not though. Good luck hope you find it!

Maybe an exhaust leak? Did you try "feeling" around the connections for leaks?

well its most of the time when the truck is in gear....only once in park. what could it be inside the muffler? Ill have to take it back to the shop and have them look at it. Ill check for the exaust leak also.

Mine exhaust wasn't a catback, just a muffler welded with no aftermarket clamps, but I watched the guy weld it in and he felt around the muffler joints where it was welded with the truck running to check for leaks.
