Dynomax Bullet Installed

I just got my exhaust installed. I went with a Dynomax Bullet dumped before the axle. It sounds awesome! I really didn't think it would sound this good. Beat my expectations big time. I would highly recommend this muffler for anybody who wants a great sounding exhaust without paying a ton. Muffler from Jeg's was $45 (with shipping) and $30 to get it put on.

Patman03SprCrw really helped me out with this, I really appreciate it.

YAY! glad you liked it, and to me the price is right too! I cant wait to dual out mine and do twin bullets dumped.

Im guessing yours is just single, Got any pics yet?

EDIT: just wait another 2 weeks or so once its broken in, and it will get a little louder, and a little deeper!

Second EDIT: did you get the 16" or the 18" i think those are the choices of lengths... Maybe you can help refresh me on the lengths offered.

I got the 2.5" inlet/outlet , 12" case length, 16" total length. The Dynomax # is 24215.

I bet it would sound wicked with true duals. I love the rumble it makes when starting it up, sounds great cruising also!

Going to try to get some pics tonight. Trying to figure out how to record the sound.

Can't wait. Don't see how it could get much better than this.

So pretty, those are really nice exaust hangers. Whoever did it, really hooked you up. I got mad with my guy b.c he just welded the hangers into the side of the muffler... Looks like a really nice bend on the dump tip too.

Got the short one 'eh...
I had the 18"er on my old truck and that thing really woke up after I got some miles on it. I miss that sound actually...

I thought the guy did a good job on it. I just recorded some short vids, but the sound quality on my digital camera is horrible, not worth posting. Can't wait until it really comes alive

What does this muffler sound like at highway cruising speeds? Does it drone much or become obnoxious? I've always been curious about the dynomax bullet.

only drone i ever get is up hill holding rpms at like 2100-2200.

Other then that, high way cruising its actually pretty quiet, not that i hear much over my subs.... lol, but yah its pretty quiet cruising. Its when you dig into the throttle the sound really comes out.

AND DLY97, wow your drive shaft is really rusted... I like the insulation the put on the gas tank tho..

Once you get up to speed and get out of the gas it's quiet (can't keep my foot off the pedal though ) With the radio on it's not bad at all, I'm not going to say you can't hear it at all, because I'm used to the factory muffler, it is noticable. It's a throaty mellow sound. I haven't had the radio on since I got it put on! My girlfriend likes the way it sounds , so it's not obnoxious or anything.

I'm in Tennessee. The truck was a rental I believe in Madison, TN.
They did load it up with insulation almost bumper to bumper.
