Which one is the best intake?

Ive been looking at a few intakes and would like some opinions on what brand will work the best. I am considering the Air Force One, The K&N, or the Airaid intake for my 06 Supercrew. Ive read a few posts and was wondering about the engine running lean and have read things about the droning with noise in the cab. I would like some opinions with people who actually have these and the pros and cons of either system. Anything would be appreciated.

From: LOUISIANA,
Yea i got the Airforce one , i love it, easy to clean, looks good, and i have put 50000 miles on truck and no problems. Like with any aftermarket air intake it dont have the silencer in it, so it does have a different sound noticable but not to loud, (I kindof like the sound) .!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recommendation would be for an AF1 unit. Make sure if you get the AF1 that you get the 3" tube. If you get the 3.25" tube, you'll need to get custom tuning to prevent a lean condition. My suggestion would be to call Troyer Performance. They'll discount your order for being a member of F-150online.com and Mike can directly explain why you'll need custom tuning with the larger tube. His number is (540) 862.9515. Good luck with your decision.
