I've got a basic 99 v6. I don't know much about exhaust mods, but I was wondering if it's possible to do a true dual exhaust on my truck. I stopped into a little shop in my neck of the woods and was told it would be very difficult to do it on my truck.

He said there isn't much room for the 2nd pipe to come out, which makes sense considering the gas tank, etc. Even if I could fit a 2nd pipe out the back, I don't know where the heck the 2nd muffler would fit.

Just wondering if any of you pros out there had any tips or second opinions on this. Again, I'm pretty inexperienced with modifications to the exhaust.
