Does anyone have any advice for an exhaust? I was looking at Borla, but a lot of the threads are talking about Magnaflow and Flowmaster. My understanding was that Flowmaster wasnt worth the money, and that Magnaflow was okay if you had short pockets, but Borla was really the way to go...

Would it be better to get a full cat-back exhaust (like Borla, Magnaflow, etc.) or just cut the cats and have custom piping welded up?

 

My Borla got delivered yesterday, I bought it off ebay for about $200 below retail.
My friend has magnaflow and he likes it and says its kinda loud.

 

Flowmaster may not be worth anything, but I sure like the tone of mine and the extra cash I have. A SIDO Flowmaster 40 cost me $225 installed about a year and a half ago.

 

i have a magnaflow X muffler that is set up with true dual exhaust two in two out. i could feel the power increase the second i hit the gas pulling out of the shop and it has a fairly quiet sound. all of this for $214 INCLUDING TAXES. good power for great price. and why buy a cat back system when it is being strangled upstream where the 2 pipes go into 1.

Flowmaster is the way to go. Just have your stock muffler replaced by a si/do muffler and you can run two pipes out the back or behind each tires(see gallery) I had a flowmaster 40 series and it wasnt loud enough for me so I took it off and just put a y-pipe in place of it.
