SISO or SIDO Dump?

Another newbie question about exhaust. I think I've read every post about mufflers in the last 2 or 3 days twice!

I'm about to get a flowmaster 40 series muffler because I like the way they sound and their price. I am going to have it dumped, I don't really want the pipes showing. My question is should I get a SISO or SIDO muffler? All I am looking for is sound, it doesn't have to be the loudest out there though. Is there any advantages going with the SISO? Do people even dump a SIDO? I thought I read somewhere about Magnaflow said there was more power gain going with the single out. Not that I'm doing this for power but if SISO will sound just as good and give a hint of more power I would rather do that. By the way I have an 2004 SCREW with the 4.6L. Also what size in and out ? What is the size of the factory pipe?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

you will definitly pay more for the SIDO and pay more to have both dump tips welded up.

Ive got a SISO and it is just fine, its not a flow but im happy with the sound, and its louder then my friends truck with side exit under the cab.

I really want to put an X pipe in and do twin SISO dumped. But thats about 200 of parts and labor and i just cant afford it right now.

So i think you will be just fine and happy with the SISO sound and price
