egr and state inspection/emissions -Texas

I have a 2003 f150 and will most likly be deleting the EGR and of course it will be deleted in my tune along with my rear 02 sensors leaving me with the 2 front o2 sensors that are on the manifolds only...

If my tune deletes these and i dont throw any codes or anything.

as long as im tuned right Will i still pass my emissions test in texas?

(will be working on a turbo project for the truck and after the exhaust side ill only have the passenger side of the exhaust running down the truck to the muffler etc with a High flo cat which is why I'm asking this question.)

they plug the truck comp into their computer, and let it idle, and as long as it doesnt throw codes you should be okay. Some shops if they can smell the exaust building and can smell the rich fuel smell they may have a look under the truck. But you should be okay for a little bit. Ive also heard of a solution you can put in your tank that makes the truck run really lean, and thus you pass the 02 test b.c of the smell.

yah and if your not throwing CEL codes is the main thing, but you cant smell like you are running rich... But i bet you will do okay with just the front cats if you have exaust all the way out to the back of the truck...
