another flowmaster ?
just wondering if it would make alot of difference in the sound if i ran a 40series FM or the FM single chamber race muffler on my truck. its a 97 with the 4.6. i want it kinda loud. drone doesnt bother me. and im stickin with the si/so. thanks alot

the single chamber will probably be louder compared to the 40 series.
im with you on the loudness thing. doesnt bother me and i actually prefer to hear my truck. but, just because its loud doesnt mean it sounds good. its gotta be a clear exhaust note.

well i finally put my flowmaster on. i love it! i put the single chamber race muffler on and kept all my stock pipe...si/so in front of rear tire. i also put a polished stainless tip on there, its 3.5 diameter. looks cool, sounds great. just thought id let you all know. it has a nice deep rumble, sounds awesome when cruisin, and mean when opened up!
