i need some opinions... would it be better to go with true dual exhaust or just dual from one muffler....

 

the Y pipe is the most restrictive peice of the exuast system. If you cut out the Y and replace it with an X pipe or H pipe, and put in a DIDO or twin SISO, you will see more flow and better performance (sometimes better sound) then doing a SIDO....
