cat removal

For those of you that run true duals without cats Does it effect ypur emissions testing

i dont know i want to take my cats off too. i mean comon there are 4 of them!

yes, taking off your cats can ruin your emmissions tests. Some places just overlook that during testing, it just depends on what state, and how strict the people are that test your truck.

Regardless of whether or not you have testing, isn't it illegal to remove them? I heard that there were federal emission laws that covered cats and exhaust shops can get big fines for removing them.
