af1 help

Im going to put an air intake (af1) on my 2004 f-150. iv been reading all these post about check engine lights. I have a x cal 2 but its not tuned by troyer. before i found this site and read all the great reviews about troyer a local guy put it on for me. Does this mean i will not have check engine lights come on when i install the af1. or do i need to have something adjusted. im on vacation in north carolina and i was going to have it put on before i leave but i dont want to drive all the way home with a check engine light on. thanks

Your vehicle needs to be tuned for the extra air that the AF1 will injest into the engine. Yes you will need to have your tunes (A/F ratio) adjusted for the installation..
