sounds good to me man... just know that whenever anything drips on those headers, it's gonna leave a big spot where the heat baked it on there... but i prefer the cereamic headers to the polished/pretty headers myself...

Good luck..._motes

Thanks!!

Anyone tried the BBK headers yet?

I wonder how they perform compared to the JBA's as the JBA's are 1 1/2 inch tubing.

And the BBK's are 1 5/8 inch tubing, so I would think they would flow a little better.

I had the same size BBK's on my 5.0 Mustang and they were great, just wondering if anyone has them on their 5.4L.

Thanks!

If I were you...I'd go with the bigger pipes...your exhaust system is going to do all the choking unless you're just running straight headers, but free her up as much as possible at the block and you're doing yourself a favor

I only say this if your two choices are similar in price range...if it's too much different go with the cheaper one or the one that you like better, but personally I'd free it up as much as possible and let the exhaust be the restricting factor...

Good luck..._motes

PS-consider quality as well...you want 'em to last...so do the research and you'll be happy with whatever you get.

Edelbrock has some shorty headers that are 1 5/8 primary tube in ceramic coated. Check them out at summitracing.com

The Summit headers I believe are Flowtech, you get what you pay for....

If I do headers it will be the Edelbrocks, they are by far the best shorty design I've seen for these trucks.
