I've heard of people heating up their glasspacks and then running water up the exhaust to burn out the fiberglass inside. This supposed to make them louder? Has anyone ever tried this? I havve an 89 Ford with dual glasspacks and was thinking of trying this out, but didn't know about spraying water up the pipes.

yes it breaks down the chemical in the packing to make them burn out faster... or another easy way is cut them out and put straight pipe in there...
