Exhaust help

Hey I was going to get and new exhaust for my truck and wasn't sure if it would be better to go with a si/do or true duals. I have a 98 f150 4x4 and was looking for better performance and reaction, a good deep sound that is loud enough to hear but not to the point it gets annoying and can't hear another person talking in the truck, and a little better mpgs. I have heard a lot of people going with a si/do and my car has true duals and wasn't sure what would be the best for what I want.
Thanks

I have gone the SI/DO on my last three trucks. This is my preference!

I have heard it said that SI/SO flows better, but I think it really boils down to the muffler.

I had a flowmaster 50 delta, it was kinda loud and after two years it started to drone in the cab, and I replaced it with a Magnaflow. I like the magnaflow, but I really miss my ole GIBSON. it was quiet until you stomped on it or hooked up a trailer.

My suggestion is to find the tailpipe configuration that YOU like and go from there.
