Any1 know what this is?

I am fixing to buy an airraid cold air intake, and i got to looking under the hood at the stock air box and their are two things connected to the air box, 1 of them is the m.a.p sensor that is connected to the actual hose, and then there is another thing connected to the filter housing. It is a piece of rubber hose that connects to the bottom of the filter housing. Does any1 know what this is, and will there be a place on the new cold air intake for it to reconnect.. Thanks for any help...

your new intake should have simple instructions on how to convert them. If u get the right intake for your year/model truck then u should be good to go.
