What order?

If I'm wanting to upgrade my intake and exhaust, but can only afford it in steps, what should I do first? Is there some other step to take first before either of these?

I have a 2003 F150 4X4 w/ 5.4L that only has approx 23.5k miles on it.

Thanks in advance for any and all help/advice!!!

Exhaust first, then intake. The exhaust is more restrictive than the intake, so change it first.

Not to mention the exhaust will make the truck actually sound like a truck. It's a must!

hehe, ya, I was thinking that myself.

I'm hoping to get some info from th e poster talking about the Summit cat-back that he installed. For right now, that'd fit my budget better. Maybe change to a Magna later if I want/need to.

/shrug.....we'll see
