Oily filters

Do the intake kits (AF1, Airaid, Volant) on the 04-06's have oiled or dry filters?

I believe they are all oiled.

If I remember correctly, the only intakes with dry filters are the Fram and AEM intakes.

I installed the AEM brute force intake for exactly that reason, I wanted to get away from the oiled systems.

So far so good, runs perfect no trouble, but its only been around 600 miles.

And I am not sure, but I think The fram system takes almost a month for delivery last time I looked at the website.

I thought I read somewhere that fram makes the brute force for aem anyway...

I feel the same. I am going to go with the Dry filter on the AEM. Just one less thing I have to worry about.
