I recently bought an 04 stx with the 4.6 v8... I am trying to get this thing sounding as mean as possible... I love the look of a true dual, I just don't want to drop too much cash right now... what should I be looking at to maximize sound without killing the pockets...

 

You could try a glasspack, there under $50 and sound pretty good.

 

Either a Flowmaster 40 series or an IMCO Extreme

 

Cut off the cats and muffler. It will put chevrolets and dodges to shame.

Seriously, don't do that. You'll regret it when you go deaf.

 

I got my flowmaster 40 series for $400 installed but you can always install it yourself for a lot cheaper.

 

But it'll sound soooooooo sweeeeeeeeet. I think it'd be worth it.
