Does anyone know if the magnaflow catback system for extended cab short bed 04 - 06 trucks will also work on a regular cab long bed truck. I think the wheelbase is the same but I am not sure if the exhaust system is the same. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

Well if you go to the link as shown: http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...44&cat=F%2D150 . There is nothing for your truck. I think the best thing to do is just buy a Magnaflow muffler and go to an local muffler shop and have 'em weld one on. Also in the link you can go ahead and look up ur local dealers/installers get it from them.

I'd ask 'em their price for the muffler and compare ... It should be like $325 (maybe) w/ the install.

Yeah man, go do what this guy said. I would actually recommend Flowmaster. Can't beat the sound. But whichever you prefer, go have it done. I got a full 3" cat back system installed, welded for no more than $250. Granted, it's a single pipe system, but with CPUs these days you gotta be careful about how much pipe you're gonna want to run, you could kill your low end torque.
