Arrow CORSA Touring Exhaust system

I have just installed a Corsa Touring exhaust system w/ the pro 4.0 tips, single side out on my 06 f150 supercrew with 5.4 engine. I have noticed that my idle RPM'S is down about 200 to 300 less than with my stock exhaust system. Was wondering if this is normal on all exhuast systems or am I looking for trouble down the road. No computer codes have pop up yet. I am looking for better gas milege not tring to make a super muscle truck. This is a soft sounding system that cannot be heard unless you get down on it. Great looking system and would recommend it to anyone. Would like feedback??

The RPM drop may be happening because your new exhaust is more free-flowing and less restrictive than the stock setup. The more restrictive the exhaust system the more the engine has to work at idle therefore more RPM's. This is just my theory but I think it makes sense. What size piping did you go with? If it is 3" then you will have less back pressue which would also lower your idling RPM's as well. If anything you may lose a bit of low end tourque from the new system but it wouldnt be enough for you to notice unless you dyno'd it.

Where did you get he Corsa from? Ive been shopping for a new setup and would like to check out the Corsa's. So the sound is pretty quiet at idle?

Corsa Touring Exhaust system

I first tried ordering the system from Stylin Concepts but that order got screwed up and I had to send it back, it was put on back order and after a couple of weeks I called the Autopartswarehouse (www.) and they done the same thing, said they had it in stock but really did not and had to back order this one also. Figured this one out after I cancelled with Stylin Concepts. I put in a call to Corsa, talked with Jeff ext. 157 ??? He gave me some good info and was very up front. It takes them about 2 weeks to get a system out but well worth the wait. By ordering my system thru Auto Parts Warehouse I saved close to a 125.00 due to cheaper pricing and no shipping cost.
