Question Looking for a CERTAIN type exhaust for '04 up F150

On a motorcycle, you see these chrome, tapered mufflers of various lengths, with a rounded/flared edge on the tip, some have baffles, some do not...

Is there ANYTHING like this that will fit a late model F150 in a cat back system. Would be interested in one(maybe two?) tips coming out behind each rear wheel.

I want something different looking and sounding, and this would be different, wouldn't it?

If you have already anything like that, what brand is it?

How do you like it?

How does it perform?

How does it sound?

There are SO many options for exhaust systems, and I DON'T MIND doing searches and research once I know where to look.

I don't mind looking for a needle in a haystack, once I know WHICH haystack to look in...

Yesterday I heard an F150 5.4 that had glasspacks and it sounded really good. Low, healthy rumble with that glasspack sorta tone...

I wasn't even sure they even made 'packs anymore until I saw these.

I just found Magnaflow, they kinda fit the bill, I wonder if they have a setup for both sides in back of truck?

I think I know the tip your talkin' about, one not straight cut but folded in to make it rounded? My JBA has that, SI/SO stainless system. I love it, sounds louder than most and looks great. You'd have to search for Bassani, Billy Boat, or Banks for a unique exhaust, also JBA or Pypes. Too many run Flowmaster, which are great, but don't last in all 4 seasons. Borla too! Like I said, JBA was my choice, and it has a rounded tip, but maybe try custom made.

Yeah! That's what I mean. Wouldn't that be cool, one chrome tip (maybe with a black edge where the lip is rounded) behind each rear wheel. Maybe two tips if you could make everything fit right?

Then give it a really healthy, mellow sound, loud, but not too loud.

In motorcycles some of those I have seen have (removable?) baffles in them...

Any ideas, photo's - I'll sure take them.

I can't take any pics right now, the old lady has the digital, but look on
www,jbaheaders.com for pics. I'm pretty sure that exhaust is what your looking for, for sound and look. Now, the lightbulb above my head lit up, why not fab up a spliter, like a Y pipe where a normal catback connects to and split into actual motorcycle mufflers, either at the tip, or just have the mufflers in the normal muffler spot and continue with piping adding the tips. That way, you could even pull off twin 4" or whatever tubes like a Harley, and use the wide selection of pipes available for them too! I'm not sure if you can buy the tips from JBA seperate, as mine are tig welded to the tailpipe, but many like Borla even should have em'. Magnaflow too I believe.

Awesome clips, great sound isn't it? Mine sounds just like it, except I have a single 3", and it is actually K&N, but JBA made. Patrick, this should hopefully sell ya on it, they're great systems.

Used to be all the rage on the pro-street/cruiser hotrod scene. They quit having the Hot Rod nationals around here so I haven't kept up with them but it looks like they still make auto mufflers.
