Removing rear cats on L...can I do this? Tips?

Ok guys...I am wanting to remove my rear cats (the big ones) from my Lightning....how can I cut the cats out without having to remove my midpipes? and instead of welding can I use silicone connectors with T-Bolts to connect the pipe in there? The silicone connections are rated to 450*F...

I would weld them but I cant seem to get the mid pipes off my headers...I removed both bolts used an entire bottle of WD-40 and I pulled and pulled and they wouldnt budge....That could of been due to the fact that i couldnt remove my cat back exhaust because I tightend the clapms so tight that I actually crushed the pipe in where the clamp was so I cant remove it now....

Tips on how to do this?
