straight pipes

I personally do not like straight pipes. The sound generated by straight pipes is cackly sounding-cheapens the truck. Where if you use a good muffler, like a 40 series Flowmaster, you get noticable quality sound. That's just me talking.

Straight Pipes

WELL I FINALLY HAVE A GOOD OPINION ON RUNNING STRAIGHT PIPE. WHEN INITIALLY STARTED UP IN THE MORNINGS, IT'S TOO LOUD. WHEN THE TRUCK FINALLY WARMS UP IT DOESNT SOUND ALL THAT GREAT AT IDLE, IT LACKS THAT DEEP TONE. NOW WHEN YOU'RE DRIVING AWAY OR DRIVING UP, IT SOUND AWESOME. IT DOES GET ALOT OF RESONANCE IN THE CAB.
