Pretty sure they are 2.5", but just measure the tailpipe because I believe it would be the same. There are threads in here about doing just this so do a search and read up, seems common.

I just put a tape on mine and it 2 3/4" OD.......

Now there's a predicament. I'm looking at just doing a Magnaflow muffler swap and adding a tip, but being the pipe is in between sizes.... which muffler do you go with? Looks like most all their stainless tips are either 2 1/2" or 3" in too.

I have an '03 with a 5.4. I just replaced my muffler yesterday with a straight pipe and it is 2.5" all the way. If you have a '96 or older F150 it has 3" into the cats and 2.25 out to the muffler/tailpipe.
