Loud and legal don't generally go together. Depending on your local laws it will vary for what you can get and still be legal.

40 series flomaster or a 14" magnaflo summit also makes a strate tube muffler #sum630265 veryloud.

I'm with 150 Stud. Loud and legal don't match in all cases. Also I'm assuming you don't particularly care if you lose low end torque for loud. Depends how much your willing to spend. I'd put on some quality high flow cats such as Magnaflow or Catco with either glasspacks or Flowmaster 40 series original single chamber. The Flowmaster single chamber muffles are harder to find but, they do make there presence known. -Mike-

Just my 2ths of a dime but if you want legal and loud it is more than mufflers get high flow cats, bigger tips and as free flowing muffler as possible. Glasspacks are gonna be the loudes but are not legal most places. I have Flowmaster and they sound good. As I have said there is a difference between loud and sounding good.

I really don't think you are gonna find a legal exhaust that can be heard for miles those were the good ol days and they are gone.

I have an 80 blazer with no cats and true dual glasspacks and you can hear it a ways but being 26 years old I don't have to pass emissions tests hell they don't even look at my exhaust for inspections.

You might also take a look at an IMCO extreme series. They probably have the same loudness as a Flowmaster, but IMO sound a little better. The Flowmaster Super40 is also a good choice and is plenty loud. The super40 is what I originally had on my truck and it was just too loud for me (read my wife said "get that thing off the truck, you're going to make your son go deaf" ). Honestly though, it was a little much for what I was looking for so I now have a Magnaflow installed in its place. Just make sure you go with either a SIDO or true duals. They're normally louder and deeper than a SISO system. Also put on longer and bigger diameter tips. It will help with how deep the tone is.
