What exhaust should I get?

I was looking at some exhausts and was wondering what everybody has. Is it really necessary to spend $500 on a full system or can you get a good system for less than that. Help me out, I am a really bad newbie. Feel free to post links and prices as well.

Thanks

I can't say enough about my JBA stainless. Under 400 and has the perfect sound. Fit was dead nuts, plus they are one of few that will do my body style, reg cab flareside 4x4.

I went w/ a 24" SI/SO maggie 2.5" in/out cut into stock pipes with the extra pipe since the stock mufflers are so freakin huge.

I just put a Borla cat back single-side exhaust on my King Ranch. I didnt want to go really loud with it, but it sounds awesome. Really gave my truck that true truck sound. I really liked being able to polish it out and give it show look, as well as million mile guarantee. I picked it up on autoanything.com. Used "Truckin" discount code and it was delivered for $465 which I thought was a great deal. Hope that helps.

check these guys out. I bought my borla from them. And even though borla forgot to put the clamps in the box the refunded gave me the option of an exchange or just give me 15 buck to go by clamps. So i took the 15 bucks contacted borla and they sent me the clamps. Now the customer service at borla isnt the best as it did take them 2 weeks to send the clamps but at least the sent them.

I had a borla on my 03 and loved it which is why i put it on my 06 also.
hope this helps.

In the past I have used Borla systems, and I have always been impressed with them. They seem to give out a good quality sound that isn't too loud, but is still enjoyable to those standing around you.

Just keep looking is the best advice I know to give you. Get something that you're going to be happy with.
