Question Spintech??

I have been researching the Spintech exhausts online. I have not found a sound clip for the 4.2L yet, but I have found a couple clips for the 3.8L. From what I hear from the 3.8L they sound great on the V6. Does anyone out there have them on their V6 F150? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have one on my V8. I'd recommend it either way. They have a sound all their own.

When you say a sound all their own, do you mean deep? I have a V-6 4.2, and I was considering the Flowmaster Series 40, but what do you think?

I've heard they are really loud on built up cars, probably comparable to a flowmaster.

The louder it is may not be the best for performance. You can easily lose bottom end if you open it up too much. The spinTech company has a few levels of sound, and they do have a distinct "Burble" to them. You can try however I don't think a 6 will much sound like a V8.
