Sounds good, I've been thinking about the same setup for awhile now. I had Mac exhaust on my Mustang and loved it. How much drone do you get at highway speeds?

that sounds very good, my flowmaster single chamber is very different from every other muffler. It sounds as if there is too much airflow, it's not tight, but very spacious. It's a way to explain two different sounds, but it's clear which has proper airflow. My exhaust f'in screams at WOT and can't wait to show those of you attending the cali meet.

Yea I have a full Mac exhaust on my '03 Cobra.

I'll find out about the drone today,,,I know just driving around town it is very mellow.

Any idea what it did to your low end torque?

The price is right compared to the same setup in a Magnaflow. I've heard too many stories about lost low end torque with Flowmaster to look any further at those.

I looked at the Mac site and didn't see a setup strictly for a regular cab. That sucks.

Nice exhaust. I want to do something just like that.

Can you by any chance make another video from the opposite angle? Like, away from your engine?

Also, where did you get it from? I found a good price here: PARTSHOPPER LINK

Peace!

Yea I can get that vid for ya.

I got the exhaust from http://www.jdsperformance.com/index.asp But I noticed it's not listed on the site anymore. He had some problems getting it from Mac and so he refunded my shipping and also 10% of the cost. All said and done I only paid $242 shipped for it.

No Drone,,,Even I can't believe it. This exhaust is so quiet from the cab. I can hear it when the engine is under a load but when cruising this this is almost silent from inside.

Even once these mufflers break in the drone is VERY minimal. The sound doesnt really start to come out now until about 3000 rpms, then from there on out its got a great tone, bnut not overpowering loud to make ou wanna put in ear plugs. It fits the style of the truck nicely I think. Like I said I will put up a vid as soon as I can of my truck with the MAC broken in. I have been thinking about going with a smaller MAC muffler like they use on the mustangs, but I would have to go from a single out to a dual tip somehow. Any suggestions? Thanks.
