Exhaust popping?

My truck has had flowmasters on it since I bought it. I always noticed when i sit and rev it up, it kind of pops when I let off and rev it again. My buddy has a truck just like mine(same body style only he has the 5.4 instead of the 4.6) and his does the same thing. At least I dont feel alone. What's the popping sounds we hear?

My cobra did the same thing, and i am pretty sure all of these mod motors do to some extent. I think it is just back pressure.

it may sound sweet 2 you but it is hurting your performance, due to the fact that it is back pressure. just my 2 cents

Just FYI I had a Flowmaster on mine and it did the same thing. I replaced it with a Magnaflow and I don't think it does it anymore. I will have to check it out.
